Cops hit us in our private parts: Over 10 Jamia students admitted after scuffle with police 

More than 10 students of Jamia Millia University, who participated in an anti-CAA march towards Parliament, have been admitted to the Jamia Health Centre for injuries in their private parts. Speaking to India Today TV, the resident doctors at the health centre said that some of the students have been shifted to Al-Shifa hospital.

“More than 10 woman students have been hit on their private parts. We have found blunt injuries on some of the protesters,” the doctors said. “Some students have also suffered internal injuries as they have been hit on chest with lathis,” they said. India Today TV has spoken to two male students who said that they were also hit on hit private parts by cops. He was also admitted to emergency for his injuries.

A student, who was being treated at the health centre told India Today TV that a woman cop removed her burqa and hit her in private parts with a lathi. “I have been hit on my private parts by cops with boots. One of the woman cops took off my burqa and hit me on my private parts with a lathi,” she said. Another student said that the cops were beating them below the belt so that the camera could not capture it.…
